What this is about

EUNTES can work in two ways, and they rule each other out.

Credit with us: you buy a number of runs, EUNTES asks through our service, we settle up. Nothing to set up beyond the licence key.

Your own account: you store your own access to the language model. Your computer then asks there directly, on your bill. We are nowhere in between, see none of it and earn nothing from it.

Which route is worth it when?

Credit, if nobody with you fancies dealing with accounts and billing. One invoice, one key, done.

Your own account, if you already have an account with the provider anyway, or if your church wants to keep everything in its own hands on principle. By our measurement a sermon costs roughly 20 to 50 US cents — in return you carry the variation yourself and must set a spending limit so that nothing runs away with you.

How to set it up

1. Create an account with the provider

EUNTES works with Claude from Anthropic. You need an account at console.anthropic.com and some credit in it. While you are there, set a monthly spending limit — that is the only brake that really holds when something goes wrong.

2. Create a key

In the account, create an API key and copy it. It starts with sk-ant-. Do not keep it anywhere else: whoever has it can make requests on your bill.

3. Enter the key in EUNTES

In the panel go to Setup, choose the “your own account” route there and paste in the key. After that the route is set; you can switch to credit at any time, but only one of the two applies at once.

The key is then kept in a file in your user folder that only your user account can read. It is not transferred anywhere except to the provider itself.

4. Done

From now on every request goes straight from your computer to the provider. There is no credit balance in the panel any more — you keep track of that in your own account.
